Liverpool, August 2021

Because of lockdown we did not have many options of where to go for our summer holiday. Going abroad would require going into quarantine so that was not practical.

So within the UK we thought we could visit the city of ... Liverpool. Why?

1. We've never been there before

2. It has the oldest Chinatown in the UK, even in Europe!

3. It's famous for the Beatles, Mersey, Liverpool and Everton football clubs

4. It is, actually WAS, a world heritage site for its historical docks

5. It is a big city with the hustle and bustle that we as a family enjoy walking around

6. There are lots of museums, particularly FREE ones :)

Sun 22 Aug: Drive up

We set off around 11am after having to wait for the car to get the windscreen changed. It had a MASSIVE crack on the passenger side and we didn't want to be driving 4+ hours to Liverpool and suddenly the crack

Mon 23 Aug: Walkabout

Tue 24 Aug: Museums

Wed 25 Aug: Beach and Ferry

Thu 26 Aug: Cathedral and Drive to Lichfield

Fri 27 Aug: Lichfield and Drive home

Christmas elves

 Tuesday 8th December 2020

Today for my advent calendar I got a nutcracker man but I only found that out when I got home from school since I forgot to open it this morning. Now your probably thinking why the title is Christmas elves well do you remember in my previous blog post I talked about getting a job on being and elf well yep I am an elf so basically we are making  lovely cards for the elderly in care homes and also filing the cards with presents and me and this annoying girl Elia are making some.We are making progress,I think so far we've made about 23 kitty cat bookmarks it is fun making them so I'm happy. For lunch we had all day breakfast but it wasn't a full all day breakfast but at least it was yummy πŸ˜‹.After that we did our lunch time hub so basically what lunch time hub is a place in the library where we can do activities and have fun I did word search  and of course it was way to easy for my clever head πŸ˜πŸ‘Œ so easy peasy lemon squeesy πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹ hehehehehehe and I also did paper chains.Oh I forgot to tell you the whole class did origami christmas trees and I decorated mine and marcos since he couldn't even be botherd but to be honest I was happy to do it.After lunch the whole of the afternoon was just having christmas themed fun and the elves had extra time to make some more cards and presents.Oh and this morning we did backing and we are making christmas buns and at the end of the day we ate them and they were delish YUM!At the end of the day I went to my violin and we are learning jingle bells, herk the harold and silent night since it christmas time and just in case you didn't know my teacher is mrs Helen moore and she is a great teacher ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.When I got home we had to quickly eat dinner cos my daddy and mummy had to go and leave us home alone YAY!!!I was very thought full and dried all the dishes washed the dishes and wipe the table and now I am here typing this blog.

CHRISTMAS IS HERE!!

Tuesday 1st December 2020

Today you've probably noticed that it is the 1st of December 2020 and yes I've already opened my advent calendar this morning hehehehe whilst my brother and sister wait till after school well I just couldn't wait, could I.Anyway I want to talk about yesterday cos my wonderful assistant teacher ,Mrs Winters, brought in a christmas tree how wonderful and now it is in our classroom and some people from my class has decorated it with origami paper decorations and today I brought my little knitted angle it is blue soft, has light blue wings and brown hair also has a happy smile as well. Now today we learned about the christmas truce which was a miracle kind of and so what happened was that Germany and Britain joined and celebrated christmas so yeah basically that after my teacher ,Mrs.Jackson, told me, Alexis, Gabriell, Ellia, Melissa and Julia to stay in I thought we were in trouble but not to my surprise it was a good thing cos we got to well actually we need to make round about 100 christmas cards for the elderly and I love craft so I was over the moon and we also got christmas hats and speaking about christmas I want to tell you about christmas cards.Of course I did a card for everyone cos why not right. And Mrs.J put out the christmas post box and I put everyone's card in it 😊.And handed the card to Mrs.J and I hope she liked it and I put Mrs Winter's card on her desk.

My day today

Friday 27th November 2020

Today we had P.E and forest school and other subject but first i'll like to say about yesterday! It was ok but the important news is the results of the Head girl and boy wich was Emma and Harry and Maliha had another role as a writing scientist which if you didn't know is a job where you go to KS1 and help them with writing and Blake on the other hand was sports Captain of redgrave which blue colour it is very confusing since redgrave has the word red but instead grey thompson is red but anyway I am really happy for them 😊.And also our class has food tasting yesterday for tropical fruit cos we were learning about windrush generation and all the people from the Caribbean🌴🌴πŸ₯₯πŸ₯₯🌴🌴πŸ₯πŸΉπŸ πŸ¦©πŸ₯ and has Caribean music in the background. So today for lunch not yesterday today we had a vegen sausage puff YUM it is basically a saugage roll but bigger and with a vegan sausage. After lunch was Engerlish and we did a bit more on windrush. Then we did P.E and for P.E we did tag rugbey but what was anoying was that me and marco got put in rubish team cos the other people in our team was Alexis and Sofia and what was so anoying was that they were just messing around and not realy paying atention and me and marco got a bit fed up πŸ˜ πŸ˜“πŸ˜€.At least after was forest school!Forest school we made charkhol it is a bit like chalk but black. What we needed to do is get thin sticks and and shuve them into a  little tin and put it in the fier and then we drew with it!I was happy cos lots of people said my drawring was good πŸ˜πŸ˜€πŸ˜‡πŸ˜†πŸ˜‹πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜‚πŸ˜„.I drew a really realistic tree and i was proud of it 😁.
